If so, please describe where, when etc. These encounters are rare of course, esp after early phase of war, representing the panic of pearl harbor etc having resided somewhat and better trained forces. Of course, the possibility is always there.

With the new construction and restoration of ETO campaign in TMO, will see some time operating off East coast, Carribean, Panama Canal en route to Pacific and of course threat of friendly fire will be possibility there.
