I think I have read about such bugs reported by people who do not use U-boat War Ace. Possibly, the bugs are not specifically connected to this mod-campaign.

Are you using U-boat War Ace 2? Only this version includes NSS_Uboat9d1_10b subs. Maybe, it is a conflict with some other new units/models/ships you use in your SH3 installation. Have you tried to clone NSS_Uboat9d1_10b to see what will happen?
