Syriah's Assad does not have to say so much anymore, he has become Putin's puppet by letting the latter "help" him destroy his own cities to subdue the rebellion against Assad. And Assad/Putin allows Israel to cross into syrian airspace to bomb insurgents and terrorist training camps. So Israel or at least its current government holds back in publicly condemning Putin.

Both assessments make a lot of sense. I'm sure many countries that aren't publicly condemning the actions of Putin aren't supporting him behind the scenes, either.
