After much trawling through this forum and 2 clean installs yesterday I think we're good!
Not 100% sure what went wrong - second attempt had an odd resolution lock and the double map issue many people have experienced.
Possible causes:
- Missed the ARB 3.1 hotfix
- May have accidently installed another Ahnenerbe GUI mod in parallel
- Missed the Tycho patch, or downloaded a bad version
- Missed the H.sie (V16B1) supplement step
- GWX Realism settings don't appear in the Naval Academy - start a career first to configure these then return.
If you're having a similar issue, try these first. And follow the mod install instructions in detail.
Also the ARB 'Adaptation for English and Dutch' only fixes flotilla details, it doesn't translate the GUI. It looks like this can be easily updated in the en_menu.txt file.
