January 1944. Bad enough I suffer major hull damage exiting the Bay of Biscay and have to return to base due to a FIDO hit.................but then to have another dropped on me only 75 kms from base !
Fortunately this one missed. What's the saying about aircraft; if it's silver it's American, if it's black it's British, and if it's invisible it's the Luftwaffe !
