I agree with you but I wanted to see the Olympics Hockey games so, what can you do ? Shrugs.

I understand that bias, but I would like to see other events once in a while.
Many of the US coverage wastes a lot time with endless repeating of the athlete's back story. Put that stuff on a webpage and free up some time to cover the less trendy events!

That's the worst part is the coverage on what so and so had for breakfast and the mindless chatter droning on. Pro football is just as bad. I would rather see the Olympics in it's entirety without the mindless commentary.

Thanks for the update August as I haven't really been able to keep up with all the events. My lady has followed more of it than I have. I watched some figure skating competitions with her and some skiing events and bobsledding. Figure skating amazes me as I know how hard it can be to balance on skates. The stresses on the ankles and leg muscles is rough too
The U.S Men's Olympic Hockey team plays tonight. The team to beat as always is
Canada for both the men and women's U.S teams. Hockey is practically a religion in Canada so their standing in Hockey is hardly a surprise. What surprises me is how well the German Hockey teams have played. When one thinks of Hockey, countries like Sweden, Norway, Finland, Czechoslovakia and Russia come to mind, aside from the U.S and Canada. They have placed some great players in the NHL.
By the way August, whats the deal with Massachusetts and how many professional and Olympic hockey players come from your state or have played in college there. Many from your area are playing in the NHL and Olympics. The only other place like that that I know of is Minnesota that has produced some great players as well. I believe that Aktung lived there and perhaps has some insight as well.
