According to German rules, which I also learned in driving school, you must ALWAYS drive at a speed appropriate to the situation around you, at all times, even in the absence of explicit traffic signs or instructions. 418 km/h is never appropriate in public spaces under any circumstances. Never. Because it does not matter at what time of day he driove and whether he knew the track or not - since it was public, anything unforseeable and any unpredicted traffic participant could have entered the situation formula anytime, anywhere.



Its a difference whether you drive 190 on an Autobahn where there are no speed limits in place (most parts have speed limits, btw, its a popular cliche that all Autobahn is unregulated, that is not true), or more than twice of that. 400+ km/h? Thats beyond good and evil. And off with his head!
