Go with uninstalling the games...
then, d/l, install (default locations fine here for this...
) & then run the basic cleaning option, followed up by the registry tool... of...

This tool, is free to download & use...
After running the cleaning & reg cleaning, close out, then restart your computer & try reinstalling your... games from Steam.
