Well I finally got to finish the tour, was very nice, and I see what you meant about the 1hr 1mn mark, the woods were stunning, then came across cows and horses grazing near the road, no fences that I could see!!
I must assume that the high pitched roofs on most constructions are for snow to slide off.

seem to change gears on the right hand grip or is it a clutch engagement?
This trip ends in quite a metropolis, I assume Osnabrück, would have taken in real time quite some time (4hrs at a guess) I bet a cafe was in order!!!.
All up you are a lucky man living there, so peaceful and picturesque.
