That is a fair question that I"ve been looking at again. I don't think mine is a photoshopped job...

There are real renditions of this original vehicle. 3 prototypes of which were made. One crashed; one; burned; and the remaining only one is in a museum and occasionally makes it to Concours D' Elegance shows. It was initially displayed at the Chicago 1934 World Fair...and a famous architect who helped with the wind tunnel and design was in a Japanese internment camp in WWII. On some variations the fin is the rear 8 cylinder ford engine's exhaust outlet...well aft of the front-wheel drive.
