I have not seen the Flag of the United States on many products. Perhaps it's because we import so much and we barely make anything here anymore. Or perhaps it's because the U.S. flag code forbids it:

4 U.S. Code § 8
"(i) The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever. It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard. Advertising signs should not be fastened to a staff or halyard from which the flag is flown."

I think it is probably the former, since there is no prescribed punishment for violating the flag code. However, I have seen small print on some packaging which reads "Proudly made in the U.S.A." or similar.

There was a bit of a scandal a few years back when it was pointed out that most of the Flags of the United States themselves were not made in the United States. Now it seems that at least the major manufacturers have all shifted to domestic production.
