you've done everything correctly according to post #3. the cfg file is default at 1024x768 and i would think you are already running that resolution. have you tried NOT hitting the test button and just finishing the setup? it would probably do the same but who knows? check the cfg file for something strange. i have .net framework 2.0 and microsoft application compatablility toolkit 4.1 and the setup went easy. don't give up - high res really looks good in game. wish i could help more.
