What do you mean by 'not too particular?' Do you think his overall list of movies include too much or too little .... what?
As for myself, I find the majority of movies he's been in since Forrest Gump (1994) have been not only good but meaningful. Granted, there are the movies made for kids like Toy Story and such (if voice acting is to be considered) but even those are good for their niche.
But I found Hanks to be good and in many cases of kindred spirit in:
Nothing in Common (with Jackie Gleason) (1986)
A League of Their Own (1992)
Apollo 13 (1995)
Saving Private Ryan (1998)
The Green Mile (1999)
Cast Away (2000)
Charlie Wilson's War (1997)
Larry Crowne (2011)
Captain Phillips (2013)
Saving Mr. Banks (2013)
Bridge of Spies (2015)
A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019)
I've even enjoyed his more light-hearted comedies, such as:
The Man With One Red Shoe (1985)
The Money Pit (1986)
Dragnet (1987)
The Burbs (1989)
Joe Vs. The Volcano (1990)
Sleepless in Seattle (RomCom) (1993) One of my wife's favorites
That Thing You Do (1996)
Catch Me If You Can (2002)
And there's a few movies I've left out.
And I'm looking forward to seeing Greyhound and News of the World.
