Finally got this mod to work - sort of. And yes I followed such installation instructions as were provided to the letter.
Glitches
When starting the error message
"Unable to read parameter 2" appears. Closing the error window allows the program to load and run;
BUT
Exiting the program produces the error message
Silent Hunter has encountered an error and needs to close and the task manager is needed to actually finish closing the program.
The UZO does not appear at all whether using "U", or the icon. Tried <Shift+U> and <Alt+U> but no joy. Obviously, without the UZO, early war careers are broken.
Activating "Ships_SH5_WOW" causes at CTD during the loading process.
Pluses are that it looks great, load times are acceptable, and saves seem to work.
