Right, DVD/CD-keys are never just six digits. You must be looking at the wrong code.
My code, like Henry Wood's, was on the DVD itself. Brilliant as it makes it impossible to lose it without losing the whole disk, but annoying as it was not also printed someplace else. I had to take the disk out of the computer during the install program, type in the code from it, and then re-insert it and continue installing. A bit cumbersome
