Thats why I hardly ever leave home. I don't want to be hit by flying

I wish I could find the article, but not too long ago there was something like this that had actually happened (it hit a house or something, causing some property damage and terrorizing the occupants)

In a similar vein, living near the ocean where we have a very large seagull population, getting spattered by bird droppings is more likely, and no less disgusting, concern.
Though at least it would not be lethal.
