We all expected a more defensive Italy in the match against Germany - but all of a sudden they were far more aggressive and offensive then in the matches before. Judging by the early matches of Italy, i would have said the chances are for the French. With this "new" Italian team I say chances are totally open, 50:50, everything is possible. There will be an incredible ammount of experience on the field, especially for the French side. Both teams have extremly strong defensive setups, maybe the two strongest in the world currently. A lot will depend on how Zidane performs. If both teams' defense lines neutralize the opponent's offense, it could become a boring match, like France-Portugal. If the offenses proves to be stronger, then it will be an open exchange of strikes and attacks, with quick shifts from one goal zone to the other.

A player like Zidane deserves to be giftet the title for his farewell. My sympathies with both teams, nevertheless.
