That, is because... Large Address Aware, or LAA as some call it... isn't a mod.
It's an app or program that tells your computer that... 'hey, dummy, this game is able o utilize more than 2 gb of ram, it is capable to handle up to 4, so assign the .exe 4 gb of ram.'
Can find a copy to d/l (can install generally any where, (after you unzip it... that is.
almost forgot to mention that part...
) where I installed it is in My C:\Games folder, so I know right where it is... an alternate locality, is desktop... as another place for that same reason) here:

Scroll down to the section marked, 'attachments' & grab the 1st 1 on the left hand side.
After you install it... LAA is a relatively easy 3 step process to do... just point it to where the sh4.exe is, check the box & click ok or accept & pretty much done.
Eazy peezy, mac & cheezy... So easy, a cave man could do it...
