I mean I wish to keep my depth while at all stop.

That started to annoy me while I was evading a DD and had to constantly change my speed to prevent my sub getting too deep. Seems that atleast the speed of 2 knots is required to keep your sub leveled. So I needed to go ahead one third to change my depth and that's when I got caught.

I'm playing my first 100% difficulty career and it's allready hard enough so I need some help disabling the effect

Thanks
Your issue is the Crash Dive Blues! Using the NYGM Anti Humming Bird mod it is easy to maintain depth at 1 knot.

The Crash Dive Blues! thread is here http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...ighlight=blues

Let me start by saying that the interrupted crash dive behaviour is a evident in a vanilla install of SHIII 1.4b, this "feature" is brought to the fore by the NYGM U-Boat Mod.

If you order a crash dive and before the u-boat reaches the crash dive depth (normally about 70 metres) you order the u-boat to another depth (higher or lower) then what happens is that the u-boat sits down by the stern at an angle of about 10 degree angle!!! The only way to get the u-boat back onto an even keel is then to order another crash dive and of course let it complete.

Due to the abundance of positive buoyancy that allows the U-Boat to hover like a Humming Bird this "feature" was not seen by the player. It would have however made the u-boat sink or sink more severely when the stern of the u-boat was flooding but this is something that the player would have expected and hard to tell the difference between flooding occurances.

So if you order a crash dive ensure that you let the u-boat go the full distance, you can however change speed & direction without issue.

If you are experiencing the Crash Dive Blues you can remedy the situation by re-ordering the crash dive (even while submerged) and allowing it to go through the full crash dive.

Special Notes...
1. You can change speed after ordering a crash dive without incuring the Crash Dive Blues
2. You can change direction after ordering a crash dive without incuring the Crash Dive Blues

For example, if I order a crash dive and as the u-boat reaches a depth of 15 metres then order silent running and a course change of 180 degrees, as long as I allow the u-boat to level out at the specified crash dive depth, then I will not expereince the Crash Dive Blues.
I'm afraid that is not the case, Der Teddy Bar. Atleast I think so.. :p
What I ment was when I'm already deep (about 200meters) the boat keeps going deeper and deeper when running 1 knots.

Okay here's the situation I experienced while attacking a convoy.
I'm at periscope depth launching my eels towards two large tankers. I do NOT order crash dive, but just set the depth to 200 meters. I'm going ahead standard silent running (I know it isnt silent enough). As I reach the ordered depth I change my speed to 1 knots. I believe the boat has leveled before changing the speed.

So the problem for me occurs now. The boat keeps sinking slowly.
As I speed up the boat to lets say ahead one third, the boat raises back to 200 meters.

Are you getting the picture?

I know that's probably the way real u boats acted, but I find it annoyig enough to really enjoy it.

The boot I'm using is IXD2 if that has something to do with it since it is a bigger boot.

So if you know a fix for that I would be grateful?

Thanks
