I agree 100% with that. Kids my age won't even read a single book and when I tell them that 85-90 percent of my knowledge on history or WWII is from books, they look at me like I am crazy.

The problem isn't that they don't read books. The problem is that they are content that they consume. It does not broaden their horizons. Instagram and Tiktok are not the best sources of knowledge. On YouTube, they can find interesting channels, but most often, it all ends with music videos and videos with cats or pranks.
