I love the IIs but the VII-B is my fav just because its the first real sub you get if you start in 39 and with the II. It feels like getting your full driver's liscense or your first lay. You aren't a real Kaleun until you're burning it up in the Atlantic with the Aces.

Same here (I like the II-A more, but of course, in a Career you have to upgrade to a VII-B after only a few patrols). It's so great a feeling to be in a Type VII-B after three patrols in a Type II-A. It's like going from a bicycle to a motorbike

The other subs like the IX, though, I actually don't like too much, to be honest. They just seem too over-powered to me
