propbeanie +1

What propbeanie states, is true.. also sometimes, but not terribly often... a ship will appear to sink but yet a small portion bobs just barely visible, just enough to keep it from completing the sinking process too, I have found.. as was the case with an IJN sub I sank... by all aspects accordingly to the crew, saying it had... & the icon on the nav map, as well.. & reported in the ships sunk portion of the messages log clipboard... though on return to port... no credit for it at all, in the base records... think propbeanie may & can recall My mentioning that a bit back.. if ol'man-itis hasn't clouded that from his recollecting.. that is... *chuckles* if so, no worries propbeanie...

Was a bit back & I know you've been burning a lot of midnight oil, what with getting v1.46 ready with FotRS... which was & is, very much appreciated...

as I recall, you mentioned if needed, surface & pump a couple of deck gun shells into its carcass the next time something similar happened.. but just to be aware that a not afraid of death overzealous AI IJN crew member, may still man a gun & pop off rounds back at Me... even if they were under water... just wondering, when did they develop a Thomson lung.. or its equiv... however that was spelled... so as to continue to man a gun underwater.. much less still fire it...

Any way, long & short of it.. is 1 of those things that can occur.. a ship shown as sunk can still not be 100% sunk until you confirm it... before you leave the area completely...

May take a bit longer, but.. is prudent.

Hope this helps... & what I said, still does hold true.. helps to give as much info as can be.. in any case.. just in case.
