Can rest assured, it isn't a refit.. as is you look at the very tail end of what they posted, it clearly reads:
''select next patrol from the wall map, it all loads and no torpedoes....''
Selecting next patrol via the wall map, only applies with being in the office, AFTER having chosen to dock at your home base you are assigned to, in order to start your next patrol.
So... that leaves out their doing a refit...
So, this only leaves finding out how they have SH4 set up, what mod/s they are using.
