She is like a golfer who has never holed a ball in his career. If her father would not have been a famous (not necessarily good) politician and minister president and brought her into poltics by his name, she most likely would not be known to the world by now. She led two ministries in germany, and failed miserably in both, wasted lots of money, all her time, and blamed others for her failures.
In a way she is a perfect figure head for the EU ship.
