Rockstar, I just claim for myself that I am certainly very unsuspicious of liking and defending the EU, this forum gives many evidences for the opposite , but the AZ stop is not the EU's fault, not this time. In fact the European nations that had temporarily halted the vaccination with AZ, did so against the explicit advise and recommendation and desire of the EU. And while the stop lasted, the EU repeatedly urged to continue with the vaccinaiton and said it thinks the AZ is okay. The claimed issues should be examined (and rightly so, they are valid medical concerns), but the vaccination should continue, thats what the EU wanted.

National decisions. Not EU decisions, not on this topic. In the end, health policy is nothing the EU has a legitimate and legal mandate over, it just tries to ursurp such authoritiy as well. But legally, health policy in Europe is exclusively national responsibility, not EU responsibility. Thats a legal fact.
