I've said it before and I'll say it again: people who want merged mods are like people who say they want prayer in public schools. They don't; they just want THEIR version available.
Exactly which files should be merged? If we did everybody's favorite there would be 500 different versions, and none of them would be the one *I* wanted. I'm a computer idiot, but even I figured out how to use the files I want.
