Germany, Italy, Portugal, France. Call it a European championship. I could imagine that Germany meets France in the finals. Which would mean that we would also see a match Germany-Italy - another one of these nailbiter-classics like GER-ARG or GER-FRA! we cannot complain of having to fight some well-reputated opposition. Very well, fighting our greatest enemies and then winning the cup in our own country - couldn't become any better!
Since it already is decided, you certainly agree that it only can become boring now, so let's call off the rest of the tournament, cancel the remaining matches, send the teams home, and celebrate on the Ku'damm!
