From what I measured from the model
Length Width Height
PKDF 216.4m 27.0m 22.0m
Gustloff 208.5m 23.5m 17.2m
The length is reasonably close.The width is went even further away and the height is still too much. As you can see from the drawings in the previous post Gustloff isn't that tall at all. The standard draft is only a little over 6meter and the height from promdeck to keel is only 17.2 meter.
Regardless of details and skins.I think the first thing to satisfy is the overall dimension then we can worry about everything else later.
I dont know if this is some kind of technical diffculty or something but most the pssenger liner tends to be higher than it should be. |
