edit: This was in september 2020. People identifying themselves as "republican" (not members of GOP) are about 30 percent believing in quanon theories. Whoever makes those surveys. This survey could also be a conspiracy of course
I first thought that like Trump the republican party did not want to lose any voters, so Proud boys, quanon or whoever queers were just accepted for the numbers and votes, and not driven away.
But if they really believe in this...
