Because money (an obscene amount of money) makes the world go round.
FIFA is all about money and couldn't care less about the sport known as football.
Everybody wins, FIFA, sponsors, clubs, tv channels except the poor joe smuck that still goes to the stadium.
Thinking that what he sees is a real genuine sport when in reality its big business with all that this entails.
