Yeah he doesn't mention bad weather in relation to ASDIC but judging by the book he experienced plenty of it.
Weeks on end storms/huge waves, etc.(I've always felt the stock weather file wasn't for off
) Brought convoys to a standstill or close to it at times.
Real pain before radar keeping in touch with the convoy, i.e., in such storms.
