I think he neither cares, becasuje his ego gets no profit from it, nor did this come from his mind, but it was the team. Hwioever, by effect and consequences coming form it, these two things stand out.

I took some time to make up my mind over the ME peace deas, saw it a a suspicious thing that these were paid for with access to F35s, but I think in the long run more than just a technology transfer can come from this. Welcoming Taiwan's recognition, is a no-brainer, however. Taiwian deserves it, it frees the US of its comfortable self-deception that led to this schizophrenia, and it confronts China. Three positives.

It is to be expected that the new govenrment will try its best to ruin the possibilities in these developments, unfortunately. Biden will maybe conitnue to play toguz over China. But the ME? I am not so certain. The poor corrupt Palestinians, the precious Iran deal, the wonderful Turks, and all that lament... Being against Israel, is a leftist obsession, "and the Left is strong in this one..."

The US Democrats can now pull through a very left-wing program with breathtaking radicalism, since they control all decision-making bodies except for the supreme court, since almost all classic media and the entire entertainer scene agitate for them, and since the US Republicans like being groggy and leaderless on the ropes after a suicide attempt. The Democrats can do this because they have skillfully hyped up the serious mistakes of Donald Trump and the criminal chaos actions of hundreds of demonstrators into a gigantic coup attempt, even though they were not. But not only this shift to the left is a devastating consequence of these actions by Trump and the chaos. In the same way, Trump would have to slap his supporters and himself for the fact that his existing pluses are totally lost. Because in the last few days his team has achieved one and a half truly historic successes in the field of foreign policy, with which Trump's record actually surpasses many of his predecessors.

However, in Trump's refusal to accept the court rulings, and in the storming of his supporters into the congress building, the Democrats have found an excuse, which has also been reiterated by many media: they are now bucking all of Joe Biden’s verbal promises of wanting to become a moderate president. If one has to fear for America's democracy, it is not because of the Trump-instigated mob. As disgusting as it is and as terrible as the severe abuse of a police officer is. But the Trump supporters had no idea what they actually wanted in the parliament building when they suddenly found themselves inside.

For the future, however, one must fear the totalitarian radicalism with which the new majority party is now beginning to clean up. Some people there know exactly what they want:

They have already announced a program on many levels for which they would normally never have found a majority among US citizens; it ranges from tax increases to a massive opening of the floodgates for migration from the south of the continent.

They have managed to turn Twitter, Google, Amazon and Facebook completely into party organs in which Trump and his party are death-censored. In return, the internet giants no longer have to fear the antimonopoly regulations that Trump had planned.

A few days before Trump's end of office, you initiated the absolutely ridiculous action of lengthy impeachment proceedings, for which there is neither a legal cause nor a sufficient Senate majority. But they still try full of hatred to humiliate Trump for eternity.

They have also put together a government that is shaped by one thing: by representing every conceivable group of activists, from homosexuals to Native Americans (this by far exceeds what was once accused in Austria of the ÖVP as evil alliance proporiety).

And the classic media, which were once champions of freedom of expression and democracy, cheer them enthusiastically and blindly with few exceptions.

All of this will have global effects or example effects - or it already has. Even more important for the world is the actual foreign policy of the USA, which, strangely enough, has hardly received any attention from the European media in recent weeks.

There is now a threat of a return to a cooler wind, perhaps even a cold war against Russia. Which is quite a nonsense. With its conquests in Ukraine and Georgia (incidentally made before Trump under an inactive Democratic President), the Putin Empire did indeed take on bad guilt. Otherwise, if only because of its continual economic decline, it is no longer the danger that many US Democrats see the Russians. On the other hand, it seems that the next US president wants to be more friendly to China and Iran than Trump. Both powers are much more threatening and aggressive than Russia.

Exactly these were (therefore?) The last two foreign policy actions of Trump in the weeks after the presidential election. Both of these actions became surprising successes and thus turning points in world history at the last minute. They represent by far the most important international legacy of the entire Trump era - unless they are turned back by Joe Biden, which would be difficult and extremely irresponsible.

Because no other foreign policy initiative of the USA in the last few decades has served world peace as much as the sensational peace agreement between the most important states of the Arab world and Israel. But the upgrading of Taiwan is also hugely important: it confirms the right to life of a small, peaceful democratic state that has been threatened by a dangerous giant for decades. It is basically an act of decency.

The importance of the Middle Eastern reconciliation cannot be overestimated. The Middle East conflict between Arabs and Israelis had long been one of the most dangerous powder kegs in the world, which often threatened to ignite a world fire. From 1989, after the collapse of world communism, it was probably the most dangerous global conflict zone. The Middle East was also a hotspot very close to Europe - while China, which encompasses its East Asian neighborhood, is a few thousand kilometers away as the most sensitive area on earth in the future.

Trump owes this Middle Eastern success primarily to his son-in-law, Jared Kushner. In many of Trump's international encounters, this was apparently insignificant in the background in the photos. But then he made decisive trips to the Middle East himself. Kushner has largely bypassed the media and therefore acted with all discretion. The media probably never really took him seriously because he looks much younger than he is, and because one could only think of him as another important appendage of Trump-Familien GmbH (a term that is used on Trump's children, by the way largely applies).

During his travels, Kushner skilfully tied a whole series of important global political threads into a successful knot that has now been completed and thus initiated the mutual reconciliation between most of the Arabs (except the Palestinians) and Israel. The most important of these threads:

Since he is himself a Jew, he has automatically had more confidence in Israel than many previous Middle East mediators.
Kushner has recognized that many Arab states are now far more afraid of Shiite Iran with its nuclear armament than of Israel, which certainly has no expansion plans. After all, Iran is militarily involved in conflicts in the Arab world, from Syria to Iraq to Yemen, which, in the opinion of most Arabs, are actually none of their business.

The escalating rivalry between the two powers on the opposite side of the Gulf (Iran here and Saudi Arabia there and the Emirates allied with it) also played a decisive role. It's about power, about gas and oil, but also about the old aversion between Shiites and Sunnis.

The Saudis, like Israel, are particularly afraid of the rapid development of an Iranian atomic bomb, and are appalled that many Europeans do not understand this danger.

The US has now unilaterally sided with Saudi Arabia in the Yemen war and against the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels.

At the same time, the radicalization of Turkey has also motivated the Arabs to change sides. It was once the only state in the region that had full relations with Israel; Turkey, however, under Erdogan has switched completely to the Islamic and radical Palestinian side and has broken with Israel. On the one hand, the Arabs fear the neo-Ottoman imperialist aspirations of the Turks, to which they had already fallen victim for centuries. On the other hand, they fear the alliance of Turkish fascism with the radical Islamist Muslim brothers, who are strictly forbidden as subversive forces in many Arab states such as Egypt (and whose dangerousness Austria was the first European country to recognize).

The Arabs are particularly angry and concerned because Turkey interfered not only in the Syrian civil war, but also for no reason in the Libyan civil war, that is, in internal conflicts in two Arab states; In the case of Syria, this in turn enabled Iran to intervene (because the Syrian Assad regime only found allies willing to fight in the Iranians), which in turn repeatedly forces Israel to take action against the Iranians in Syria.

Kushner won the - geographically - westernmost state in the Arab world, Morocco, in turn for the peace agreement because the Americans officially accepted the annexation of Western Sahara by Morocco after decades.
That should have angered Algeria, which had long supported the Western Sahara Liberation Front Polisario fighting against Morocco; But Algeria's government is now also primarily interested in a peace policy in view of the constant attacks by its own radical Islamists.

The Saudis have recently complained loudly that the Palestinians they have long supported - who are now very isolated in the Arab world - have repeatedly jumped at the last moment from peace agreements with Israel, which the Saudis had been preparing for a long time. Obviously the Palestinians only wanted the money of the rich Arab states, but not their political advice. This has increasingly frustrated the Saudis.

After the murder of a regime critic in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Saudi Arabia urgently needed a break from international isolation, so it was particularly easy for Kushner to motivate.

The Saudis also have a major economic motive for changing fronts: They have recognized that oil and gas - also in view of the climate panic movement in the West - will not be enough as a basis for their prosperity in the long term. And certainly not if your country spends a lot of money every year on the confrontation of the Palestinians with Israel. Cooperation with Israel - and not least with its highly developed technology, which is especially suitable for desert regions - now seems much more sensible to them.

But Kushner has also succeeded in including Qatar in the great reconciliation: The wealthy Qatar had had good relations with Washington for a long time, but also with Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood. The Saudis and the Emirates, however, had closed the border with Qatar in the previous year to dissuade it from the Iranian route. Now Qatar has given in to the pressure and opted for the pro-Western path - not least because of concern that there might be international boycotts against the upcoming soccer World Cup in Qatar, which for several reasons (because of the air conditioning required in the hot desert country) Stadiums and because of the exploitation of South Asian migrant workers) has been criticized for a long time.

France - currently apparently the only European state that knows that the world does not consist of just one continent - has joined the great shift in the front in the Middle East on the side of the Americans: President Macron has in December (i.e. already after Trump's Electoral defeat) awarded the Egyptian President Al-Sisi a high French medal - although this is extremely hated by all leftists because of his harsh actions against all Islamists.
Finally, an advantage for Kushner over all previous Middle Eastern peace brokers was the fact that for the first time in decades there were no cross-shots and intrigues from Moscow. The Russians may not have noticed at first what Kushner was threading in his quiet manner. Or they agreed because they at least sided with Egypt and France against their old adversary, Turkey, in the Libyan war. Or they secretly had a certain sympathy for Trump.

Iran, against whom all this is directed, has of course not had much joy with the sensational foreign policy finale of the Trump era: the mullah state has now even started an international manhunt against Trump. But with which he has also put Biden into a quandary: His Democrats with their legal actions against Trump and Iran now appear to be allies.

In addition to this historic progress in the Middle East, Foreign Minister Pompeo has drawn another important cornerstone in US foreign policy at another point: He has officially lifted all restrictions on Taiwan that have been followed in the past "to appease the communist regime in Beijing". Of course, this was also an action to prevent the future Biden government from approaching Beijing. It is still a right, important and good step.

The Taiwan turnaround and, above all, the Middle Eastern breakthrough in the very last few weeks of Trump's foreign policy are in total contrast to Trump's foreign policy failures in his first years in office. In these he had completely focused on trying to get North Korea to change its policy. But in view of the poor internal situation in his country, its leader was and still is far too afraid of any change.

One could almost - almost - feel sorry for Trump that these great successes are going under completely, if he wasn't to blame for the downfall himself through his Rumpelstiltskin policy. The stubborn non-recognition of his electoral defeat against all court rulings and the senseless inciting of his supporters have completely covered up everything that his foreign minister and, above all, his son-in-law have achieved in historical actions in the last few weeks. Trump has made it very easy not only for the Democrats, but also for the media, who in principle do not want him to be successful, to completely cover up these processes.

Conversely, the Trump team has made it difficult for Biden to advance his intended rapprochement with Iran and China and, for example, lift the sanctions imposed by the USA, or even revive the Vienna nuclear deal with Tehran, which Israel considers an existential threat to its own security is seen.

PS: In the last few hours they have shown how hateful the Iranian mullahs are by brusquely rejecting any corona vaccine from the West. In their hatred, they did not even understand that they were making their entire propaganda building untrustworthy: Its main arguments were the constant complaints that, because of the US sanctions, it was primarily the citizens themselves and the health system that were suffering. And now it is the mullahs themselves who do exactly what they complained about ...
