I'm a recovering comic collector (I have over 5000 of them collecting dust in individual mylar bags in my closet) and I've been clean for over 10 years. I even have an multi issue Xforce Executioner story line that I've never read because they came in "collectors bags with hologram cards". I'm almost intriged by this plot to read it, but not quite. Nice publicity stunt though. The last time I read Spider Man, Peter looked like Eric from That 70's Show. Now he looks like he's a member of a boy band .
A not so funny comic story. My cousin game me his comic collection when I was 8, with most of the issues being from the 50's and 60's, containing several valuable numer 1's. I was moving the box with the comics out to the garage, and I put them on the driveway, and went to shut the door. It was garbage day, and the guy picked up the box. I said NO! I want that box! He dumped the comics in the truck, tossed the box back at me, and drove off while I stood there, speechless.
