Some hairy situations entering narrow harbour entrances .. i remember entering the harbour at Gedser (Falster) in storm. While we were lucky and stopped and moored right at the head of a landing stage, another boat was blown between two stages and not able to turn, with wind coming strong from behind.
While trying to turn, the plastic hull was pressed sideways against a pole, and literally folded around it, leaving a big 'kink' in the side, with splintering deck and a lot of other damage.
After seeing this i prefer to ride it out on sea under such conditions..
