Hi Snakech! Could you do me a favour?
I have for some reason deleted the 7-zip files for GW-UA1.1 on my pc, so could you please create some par2 files for me to host on my site, so that people can check their dl's for errors! My mail adress is a the bottom of my site, just remove the obvious part from adress!

yes of course may i need your help, what is an par2 file?
|
It's a file created by a tool named QuickPar, which was/is used a lot in the usenet. When uploading/downloading archieved material, usually in rar format, but it will work just as good with any other like 7-zip, sometimes incompleted dl's can be checked with par2 files, and if the dl'er has a corrupted dl, QuickPar will repair the archieve!
You can get the program here:
http://www.quickpar.org.uk/
There is a tutorial at the site! When creating par2, you need only about 10 recovery blocks, this should be sufficient and less time consuming in the creation of the par2 files!
