I don't come with a solution for the save issues, but a interesting thing I discover from w10.
Dislike w7, you can pause game, get the PC to suspend and then get again and just alt tab game still works fine. Is a factible way to avoid save in Sea.
A solution for players using real navigation becouse it in a exponential grow issue.
Comander collapses, for sure, so never use this with rollback checked.
