Petit-Rocher is in the province of New Brunswick and is located on what is called the North Shore in the northeastern part of the province. It's about 150 km as the crow flies from where I live on PEI. People in this part of the world who are of French extraction do not call themselves French Canadian. They are Acadien and if anything would refer to themselves as Francophone if they speak French. French Canadians are from Quebec.

Like any place in the Maritimes the summers are paradise.

Any way as they say in that part of the province ...affects French accent..
