With everyone home on the net my internet has gone from bad to "assumed room temperature" ,, it takes forever to check email , if I can connect at all,, or post in these forums.
A lot of the time my internet is down. If I am offline and start a campaign it appears to start up and work fine. I save every so often "while offline".. If I come back later,, still offline and try to load a saved game I get the no connection error and it tells me to try again later.
Is SH5 truly no longer reliant on any internet connection? If someone has this figured out I's appreciate it.
attached is a screen showing my uplay settings.

You may not need U-Play "online" but I would imagine that a download version still tries to phone home from a license check standpoint.
