Tell the whole story Skybird not just a version of it. The other candidate got more votes, 65,844,954 but her margine of 2,865,075 is a very small slice of the electorate. Mrs. Clinton got 20.3% of the a census estimate of U.S. population that day of 324 million compared to Trump's 19.4%. That's a difference of 0.9%. If she had won would she be an illegitimate President?
