I just got back from my "weekly" shopping excursion.
In case you were keeping track, I live in central Iowa south of Des Moinse.

Overall, things are looking almost normal. No price gouges and selection looks good. Except for paper products, AGAIN (still?). I talked to an employee and asked what was up. He said that yeah, its odd to see this kind of hording in tornado country but his idea is that this is almost a second "panic" wave after the first emptied the stores.
This is odd because the empty paper isle still has signs limiting purchases to one package per customer.

I'm guessing now is a good time to buy stock in paper companies, just be ready to sell it quick once the crisis is over. TP and kitchen towels don't have a shelf life.
