I made Paramedic shortly after you and I met right after Hurricane Ike. (2008 I think it was?)
I've been medically retired since May of last year due to injuries after 17 years on the streets.
Recovering from another surgery now. Wish I could have made it to 20 years, but it wasn't in the cards. I really miss some things about being out there, but it is nice in some ways to sit out the latest crisis. Awesome Mrs. Lehmann though, is
mostly glad I'm not out in the middle of it all anymore.
On occasion she asks me to go play in the freeway.
At any rate, I think we'll be okay.... if not, we'll die side by side fightin' ta save the ship!
