How sad that would be

They would probably build shipping container cities in the desert for them

Went to the VA clinic here yesterday and you can't even get in without a nurse seeing you with a lady or gentleman asking everyone if they have a cough or runny nose or any cold symptoms.

After three weeks of coughing I had to say 'yes' so I had to wait for a nurse to come out of the main building to see me. She just asked a few questions and gave me something fo the cough.

Then I went in to check in for my heart stress test and a big paper under the screen asking if anyone had flu like symptoms to check in to urgent care.

So I did and an hour later a nurse came out and called my name. She was under thirty and very nice to me checking everything and then said, "I don't think you have covid-19, but we don't have anyway of checking you for it yet and that I would have to go to the local ER room at the local hospital for that.

Then she added that three weeks wasn't that bad and that she had just got off the flu and that it took four weeks. She made me feel better and gave me some really really good cough medicine (that I just took)

So then I go to see the real reason I was there for my heart and it turns out that this would not be a good time to run on a thread mill to test my endurance. Here's a new appointment for four months from now and good luck.

Home and happy ... God bless all of you veterans the VA is slow, but they really do care about you.
