I looked it up with Google Earth and found a big deep crater to do with Operation Ploughshare at the northern end of Yucca Flats.
If you have terrain turned on you can see how deep it is.
Also using the terrain feature of Google Earth I reconned the area around Area 51, got the lay of the lay of the land and have now planned my penetration of the base
Seriously this google earth is good ****. If the topography is accurate enough you could use it to plan that sort of stuff.
