In my final war patrol in LSH 2015, the war ended when I was ashore, between patrols. What happens in the various mods if you are at sea and the war ends?

Historically, boats at sea were ordered to surface, fly a black flag and make their way to an Allied port, and to cease combat activity. I am not sure what boats that were closer to an Axis port were ordered to do.

What happens in the various mods players here are using? For example, NYGM, GWX, WAC, etc?

I, for one, would prefer to go to a cushy POW camp or make my way to the Heimat, rather than take Hitler or Bormann to Argentina.
