TW2 should give you a good run for your money. You can most defiantly kiss that 1 million tons bye bye. If i didnt have so much time invested in my own mods i'd give TW 2 a closer look. As it is, i catagoritically refuse to drop my work. IT would be throwing away a years worth of tinkering, something i wont do. I might however pick it apart and use the bits that i like. I just havent really had the time to go through it yet.
As for the single merchants.. oh keelbuster with the convoy fetish, of course i did! When i travel 20-30 days to a sector, i expect to be put through the ringer a few times. Heh infact, i made every HK group in my game elite. Something most people seem to avoid. I came a hair close to just making ALL crewratings elite. Survivign a depth charging in a type 9 is somethign to write home about. It's really not that much harder then a type 7. The major difference is you can't turn as fast. So presenting a narrow profile is a tad harder. My response is usually to go deeper. :rotfl: I have plenty of memories of creeping along at silent running on the edge of crush depth, with my boat dogpadding. Bow up, stern down, struggling to maintain depth. Fun stuff!
