I am sorry to hear about this situation with your favourite mod for Silent Hunter 5 after a new patch for the game. In regards to your questions:
1) I am unable to answer this as we have no such information available to us.
2) As far as I know it is not possible to use an older version of a game. We would always recommend to use the latest versions of our games. However I will forward this request for a roll back to the relevant teams to look into if this will be possible in the future.
I do apologise that the mod mentioned is no longer running however we are not able to look into any modifications made by mods to our game. You may need to look into this with hte mod makers to see if a workaround is possible for you to use the mod with the new patch.
