The really fast movers turned out to airplanes! I always patrol at 1024x, the planes were moving like blurs! I was hanging around the chart screen and selected the target. Then I slowed down to 1x time and hit the I key. The crew said the target was an aircraft!
All my career losses have been to aircraft!
