How To Install The Grey Wolves Extension GWX3.0 Gold

You must be a Subsim member or be prepared to make a donation to be able to access GWX 3.0 Gold

First of all make sure you have installed a clean un-modded version of Silent Hunter 3 which must be Starforce Free.

Important essential application > You will also need to install the 4GB patch if you have a 64 bit system.
4Gig Patch For SH3

Picture 1 > The SH3.exe must be showing the latest File version 1.4.0.1 also known as v1.4b

Pictures 2 > 3 > 4 Subsim Information.

Picture 5 > I recommend downloading the Full Version Zip file to a convenient place and then copy and paste directly to your game folder.

Picture 6 > Zip file opened.

Picture 7 > Use the Extract Tab.

Picture 8 > The installation path will be the same as your game folder > OK to confirm.

Picture 9 > Close the Zip file.

Picture 10 > Start the GWX3_Full exe showing.

Picture 11 > For those wanting to download Multi File make a new folder in a convenient place and download each of the files into it. Copy and paste the folder to your game folder.
Open the folder and start the GWX3 exe showing.

Picture 12 > Select Destination Folder path is your game folder.

Picture 13 > If you have the correct folder then press Install.

Picture 14 > Click on Finish when the installation has completed.

Picture 15 > JSGME has now automatically been installed.

Picture 16 > Shows the Mods which come with GWX disabled.

Picture 17 > From the Documentation folder found in the main game folder is a selection of PDF information.
Manual_v3.0_Final is very comprehensive, over 600 pages and needs to be looked at.
