Hi guys.
A few days ago I resurrected SH5. Well, that is to say I still had the sim on my PC and decided to start a new campaign again after some years of neglect.
Everything is working fine, thanks.
However, I've been checking various posts regarding the hoary old steam torps. I perfectly understand the high percentage of duds, given the 1939 time frame.
Over my first two patrols in the VIIa every single torpedo has been a dud (100%). I am now into my third patrol with a new VIIb and and lo and behold, same problem.
I really can't remember this being so severe the last time I played.
My mods are shown in the illustration.
Any help would be appreciated. There's only so much tonnage you can sink with a deck gun!
