fifi,
i am reporting this as an unexpected feature.
normally, i do not pay attention to the flak guns.
on a 2D mission in the Baltic, i did pay attention to them and noticed a number of anomalies. in no particular order:

apparently, i upgraded the weapon to two twin guns however the weapon shown in the flak gun camera is clearly a single.
the equipment screen shows two twin guns but the damage repair screen only shows one.
the flak gun menu also shows only one weapon...the forward gun. if they are supposed to be on either side that would be another unexpected feature.

i intend to keep moving forward with my career.
let me know if you want more info as i will try and keep that savegame.
